The Delaware Trace Free
Trappers will be holding their
Rendezvous at the Finley River
Park in Ozark,  Missouri.  The
camp is open to the public with
opening Ceremonies starting at 9
a.m. on Saturday.   Those camping
must be in period attire along
with a period camp.  Early set-up
begins Thursday at 9 a.m.  This is
a non-shooting rendezvous but
has many different contests and
demonstrations on Friday and
Saturday.  Trader fee is $15 plus a
blanket prize.  Camp fee is $15.  
There is also wood, water and
showers on site.  Plus a big Pot
Luck dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The Living History Reenactors will
be having their Fall Encampment
and Shoot at Columbia Bottoms
Conservation Area.  Spend the
weekend enjoying over 4000
acres of property, MDC Education
and Visitors Center along with
music by Booneslick Strings.  The
competition shoot will be held on
Saturday, September 20th.  
Shooters must bring a $15
blanket prize.  There will be NO

The NMLRA presents the 2nd
annual National Women's Weekend
at Friendship.  Enjoy a weekend of
fun, safety and black powder
shooting.  Shooting competitions
will include novice/beginner
shooting, Offhand Rifle, Pistol, Trap
as well as a Woods Walk.  Loaner
equipment is available to those who
don't have black powder firearms.  
Pre-registration is $35 and must be
postmarked by April 7, 2008.  After
this date registration is $45.  A
dinner will be held on Saturday
night for all attending at $10 per

Association will hold their Spring
Shoot and Rendezvous at

powder shooting competition,

demonstrations, museum displays

War in the old Northwest at the Lyon
Farm.  This event is to potray life
during the era of the fur trade and the
Was of 1812 in the Old Northwest.   
Many different military jaundras will
be present including Native
Americans, U.S. and British soldiers
along militia, trappers, traders, sutlers
and civilians who will help portray the
early 1800's.  Amenities include water,
straw and indoor washrooms at an
historic outdoor museum.  Located 45
minutes southwest of Chicago in

Loaders, Inc. will be holding their
Kalamazoo Living History Show at
the Kalamazoo County Expo
located at the County Fair
Grounds, 2900 Lake Street, exit 80
North off of I-94.  There will be
Living History Re-enactors,
Craftspwesons, Collectors and
much more.  People attending this
event in Pre-1890 clothing will be
eligible for a door prize.
